Three nights in The Forresters Arms in Kilburn with Steve and Kate.  Great weekend.


Saturday - a walk from Helmsley to Rievaulx Abbey to get us going.

Back at Helmsley, heading for the pub

The Kilburn White Horse near Kilburn. The figure is 318 feet (97 m) long by 220 ft (67 m) high and covers about 1.6 acres
 and said to be the largest and most northerly hill figure in England.

The next day we did trains - steam train arriving at Pickering Station.

Goathland railway station, used as the location for Hogsmeade railway station.

An historic public gents toilet in Great Ayton

Slightly more famous, this was the boyhood home of Captain James Cook, and here is is!
And that was our weekend, more or less!
